Weidner & Associates, Inc. (Weidner) was founded in 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company’s foundation was established on the distribution of process instrumentation and controls in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada across a wide array of markets, including water/wastewater, mining, oil & gas, and food & beverage. In the 1970’s and 1980’s, David Weidner grew the company by taking on additional product lines and expanding the company’s sales force.
In the early 2000's, the company established a dedicated division to support industrial workers and the fire services with safety equipment.
In 2018, Weidner created its Plant Services division, which focuses on hygienic equipment preventive maintenance (PM), primarily in the food and beverage and life sciences markets. Initially offering this critical service in the Intermountain West, Weidner has expanded the Plant Services business nationwide. The company now provides hygienic valve maintenance and a variety of hygienic process equipment solutions to a variety of food & beverage and life sciences industry leaders.
The company is based in Midvale, Utah.
Fire Division Sale (2025)
Since the 1990’s, Weidner began offering personal safety products to its industrial customers leading to expansion into the fire service market and the creation of Weidner Fire in 2004. In 2025, Weidner sold its fire division, Weidner Fire (to SeaWestern) and focused the company’s efforts on the national expansion of the Hygienic Equipment Services and Process Equipment businesses.
