Weidner & Associates, Inc. (Weidner) was founded in 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company’s foundation was established on the distribution of process instrumentation and controls in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. In the 1970’s and 1980’s, David Weidner grew the company by taking on additional product lines and expanding the company’s sales force.
In 2018, Weidner created its Plant Services division, which focuses on hygienic valve turnaround maintenance, primarily in the food and beverage industry. Initially offering this critical service in the Intermountain West, Weidner has expanded the Plant Services business nationwide. The company now provides hygienic valve maintenance to a variety of food & beverage industry leaders like Chobani, Dannon, Coca Cola, Fairlife, and Schreiber Foods.
The company is based in Midvale, Utah.
Fire Division Sale
Since the 1990’s, Weidner began offering personal safety products to its industrial customers leading to expansion into the fire service market and the creation of Weidner Fire in 2004. In 2025, Weidner sold its fire division, Weidner Fire, to SeaWestern and refocused he company’s attention on the national expansion of the Plant Services and Process Equipment businesses.
